Despite being a small space, the shop has a cozy and welcoming vibe, making it perfect for a quick catch-up with friends or a relaxing solo coffee break. The highlight of my visit was definitely their viral Strawberry Cloud Iced Matcha. It's a unique and refreshing drink that perfectly balances the earthiness of matcha with a hint of sweetness from the strawberry cloud. It's unlike anything l've tried before-definitely a must-try! Their food menu is just as impressive. I highly recommend their bagels, which are fresh, flavourful, and pair perfectly with a morning coffee. The pastries are also a treat, offering the perfect balance of sweet and savory options. Whether you're looking for a snack or something more filling, you can't go wrong here. Overall, Fabian is a hidden gem in the heart of Melbourne-great coffee, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Cute little cafe in the shopping area. Cost set up, stopped for a coffee and it was excellent - beautiful roast and smooth. Good pricing for sandwiches, will come back to try.

When living in Sydney I usually avoided Campus Coffee places but it was late and the place got great reviews and wasn’t called Campus Coffee. The staff is welcoming and friendly, big baked goods selection and delicious decaf flat white. Only saw that they were serving Campus coffee after I already made up my mind.

Fabian is a small cosy place opposite Melbourne Central shopping mall. The inside of the place maybe narrow but nothing beats a great coffee, friendly barista and a great time dining in! The hazelnut cake paired well with the flat white. Flat white art was also pretty. Many other coffee types to choose from and had a good time there! Bought a pack of coffee there too :)

Staff are excellent and drinks are great....only thing, banana bread looks legit but seemed less bananarish than it looks.

Fabian cafe is one of the best and the coziest spot in Melbourne. I had bagel there. Avocado bagel so juicy, so yummy with some cherry tomatoes in it and also had strawberry matcha well balanced. Pistachio cookie is a must try. The filling oh my God so good. Possibly the best spot in Melbourne so aesthetics Pinteresty. Uh will visit here again 🥯🥑🍓🍵

Whether you’re after a quick takeaway or a sit-down moment to reset, Fabian delivers on all fronts. Their coffee is fantastic - smooth, strong, and always made with care. It’s clear they know their beans and take pride in their brews. Whether you're after a flat white, espresso, or oat latte, it’s consistently good, which is hard to come by in such a busy part of town. One of the standout surprises is their green juice - fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavour. It’s not overly sweet or watered down like some places. You can tell it’s made from real, quality ingredients. It's the kind of juice that actually feels good to drink and gives you a proper energy lift. The space itself is minimal and modern with a relaxed vibe. Even when it's busy, it never feels too chaotic, and the staff are always friendly and efficient. Whether you’re a city worker needing your caffeine fix or a visitor looking to recharge, Fabian is a great stop for quality coffee, fresh juice, and chill city vibes. Highly recommend dropping in - you might just find yourself going back again and again.

Fabian Café is a lovely little café, located directly at or very close to the tram stop. They serve excellent coffee, including specialty coffee, as well as several seasonal drinks. I tried a roasted matcha for the first time, prepared with almond milk, and it was outstanding. Vegan options are also available. I also had a warmed almond croissant, which was very tasty — crispy on the outside with a rich, flavorful filling. There are a few seating options, and I can highly recommend this café.
